("JSLeague", "us"), as a data controller, with respect to your access
and use of our website available at the URL www.jsleague.ro („Site”).
Each time we are required by the applicable law or, otherwise, want to
use this legal basis, we will request your free, informed, specific
and unequivocal consent for the processing of your Personal Data. By
expressing your consent, you agree that we can collect, use, reveal,
process and transfer your Personal Data in accordance with this

version available on the Site and we will update the "Last updated”

information about our website jsleague.ro (“JSLeague”) and our
training services to our users (“you”, “your”). It describes how we
collect, use, secure, and share information of our users and
individuals whose details are used to purchase JSLeague services. It
also describes how to access, update and correct your personal
information and the choices available to you regarding your personal

Computer systems and software procedures used for the Site's operation
acquire, during their normal operation, some Personal Data (so-called
log files), the transmission of which is implicit in the use of

and integration with data held by third parties, allow users to be
identified. Such information includes the IP addresses, the time of
the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the

1.4 Attending JSLeague Events (as participants)
JSLeague hosts events throughout the year that can be attended by any person who applies as a participant and is selected by the organizers. These events include meetups, workshops, hackathons, trainings.
1.5 Registration as participants to the JSLeague events
On Ove.ro an online platform for ticketing, you can register as a participant to an event organized by us. When you do so, we process the following Personal Data: first name, last name, email address, and the personal/office address. We might also use your Personal Data in order to communicate event changes.
1.6 Taking photos and videos during the JSLeague events
During our events, we will take pictures of the audience and trainers.
Further, some of the pictures could be published on social media
platforms in order to promote our events. In this context, we will use
the following Personal Data: image and videos.
If you for any reason do not wish to be included in any photo or

2. Other processing operations
2.1 Contact
You can contact us in different ways: by email, by phone, through feedback or support form. In this case, we will process the following Personal Data: first name, last name, email, phone number and any other information you voluntarily provide when you contact us.
2.2 Feedback
At the end of the event, we will send you a feedback form. In this case, we will process your email as a Personal Data.
2.3 Newsletter/ Marketing Communications
We collect Personal Data when you voluntarily provide such
information, such as when you fill out the 'Request Offer' and
subscribe to newsletter form from our organizer’s website JSLeague.ro,
(for example email address, name, company, phone number), contact us
with inquiries, or respond to our surveys.
IP address, date, and time associated with each open and click for an
email campaign sent through our email service provider (MailChimp) is
stored only in our MailChimp account.
In addition, if at any time you wish not to receive any future
marketing communications or you wish to have your name deleted from

Note however that as a user of the Service you cannot opt-out of some
administrative communications that are reasonably necessary to the
Service, such as billing, address account issues or communicate about
customer support.

When you use our website, you acknowledge that we use third-party

often you use JSLeague, the events that occur within the application
and where the application was downloaded from. This information will
not be shared with third-party analytics services without your prior

mobile phone or other device when you access JSLeague. Our cookies
help provide additional functionality to JSLeague and help us analyze

preferences or to allow you to access JSLeague without needing to
remember and then enter a password more than once during a visit to
JSLeague. In all instances in which we use cookies, we will not

the right to lodge a complaint before the supervisory authority, the

Right to rectification: You have the possibility to

applicable legal requirements are met. In the event of errors, after
notification, we will immediately correct your Personal Data.
Right to erasure: In certain cases, you have the
possibility to request the deletion of Personal Data, namely when: (i)
the Personal Data are no longer necessary in relation to the purposes

there is no other legal ground for the processing; (iii) you exercise
the right to object to the processing; (iv) the Personal Data have

processing, but you require them for the establishment, exercise or

the verification whether our legitimate grounds override yours.

consent; (ii) for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal
claims or (iii) for the protection of the rights of another natural or

structured format, which is currently used and can be read
automatically and you have the right to request us to transfer this

interest, you have the right to object to the processing of your
Personal Data by us. In the event of unjustified objection, JSLeague is entitled to continue processing Personal Data.

because of their repetitive nature.

your request within one month of receiving the request. This period
may be extended by two further months where necessary, taking into
account the complexity and number of requests, in which case we will
inform you of any such extension and of reasons for the delay.
